I got my first camera for my 12th birthday (a Polaroid Instant), but didn't take photography seriously until I was about 17, when I bought a Minolta X-300 film camera. Many years and cameras later, I'm working mainly on portrait and fine art projects.
I love the entire process of creating images, from early ideas, through working in the studio/location, to editing and printing; nothing beats the creative buzz of starting from nothing and ending up with some great images.
